This is the basic document governing the Young Democrats of South Carolina. In 2024, YDSC rewrote its Constitution and approved it at that year's State Convention.

This is the document governing multiple YDSC processes including chartering, voting at State Convention, the election of state officers, the selection of YDA Convention delegates, the planning of the State Convention, and more. 

This document governs how the Young Democrats of America functions at a national level. 

YDA's Platform is amended every two years at the YDA National Convention. Resolutions based on the Platform are debated and voted on throughout the biennium.

These rules describe how the South Carolina Democratic Party operates, including how state and county party conventions, their Executive Committee and Executive Council, and the operating of caucuses and auxiliary groups like YDSC.

SCDP adopts the DNC Platform the year after a Democratic National Convention and votes on Resolutions each year at State Convention. Resolutions sent to the SCDP Convention may not be identical or too similar to approved resolutions, or misalign or detract from approved resolutions.
